Arif: "Don't mess with the God"

3 semesters in a row and it seems as if there is nothing stopping the Spartans from championing a tournament

Last updated on 1959 EST Thursday, April 30, 2009
Another final match gone, another Spartan victory - only one difference - the margin of victory just got bigger. 51 runs? What were we watching a whitewash? Raiders won the toss and elected to field, got Arif out for a duck and Aditya out for 2. However, Spartans who are known to recover from any situation hoisted a monstrous 121 run-total with Pahuja and Shah at 47 and 27 not out. Raiders didn't appear to be big chasers right from ball one and politely collapsed for 70 to end the night. Sachin Pahuja stated "The name on the front of the shirt is more important than the name on the back". [ Recap ]
